SPE-UTP-SC stands for Society of Petroleum Engineers of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Student Chapter. SPE-UTP-SC is affiliated to the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) International.

SPE-UTP-SC was established in June 2004 by several passionate students and petroleum engineering lecturers. Currently, it has 350 members and its membership is open to all students regardless of the course they pursue.
